Bethel Bear Creek Reformed Church is a family of believers, serving God through Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to reach and influence our community by being a Bible-based church and by showing our love of Jesus Christ and each other.

In our desire to glorify God, we focus on these nine aspects of ministry and fellowship.

Preach the Word

The Bible is God’s Word, given to reveal truth.  When we gather, His Word is central in our worship.

Fellowship

Fellowship brings encouragement, accountability, and growth in becoming more like Christ.

Prayer

The believer cannot survive without prayer, both individually and corporately together as God’s people.

Unity

We are called to be one body, sharing in the one faith.  While we may disagree at times, we never divide, remaining united around the Gospel of Christ.

Generosity

The more we recognize all that God has given us in Christ, the more generous we become.  The gospel heart is a generous heart.

Worship

All of creation is made to glorify God in worship.  As followers of Christ, godly worship plays an irreplaceable role in our lives.

Hospitality

Nothing we own is meant solely for ourselves.  We are eager to open our homes to share what God has given.

Thankfulness

We affirm that every good gift and perfect gift is from above, and this requires our hearts to be thankful.

Making Disciples

Our mission, given by Jesus Christ, is to make disciples through faith in the gospel and obedience to Scripture.

What We Believe

  1. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  2. The Holy Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and our guide for Christian life and faith.
  3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.
  4. There is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ.
  5. Salvation is by grace, a gift from God, apart from works.
  6. Salvation requires repentance, turning from one’s own way to God’s way.
  7. God promises forgiveness of sins and fullness of grace to all who trust Him.
  8. The Biblical principle of the sanctity of life for the unborn.
  9. The God-ordained union of a man and a woman.
  10. That we are sent by Christ into the world to spread the good news of the Gospel and to bring every person into a life of faith, discipleship, and submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Confession of Faith: The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ,
His only begotten Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell;
The third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
And sitteth on the right hand
Of God the Father Almighty;
From thence he shall come to judge
The quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
The holy catholic church;
The communion of saints;
The forgiveness of sins;
The resurrection of the body;
And the life everlasting. Amen.
